Mystic Rogue, Mystic Thief or Magic Thief is a role-playing subclass in Elder Tale.[1]
Overview[]
A thief knowledgeable in magic and magic items and able to use them on their own. A Mystic Rogue can create and use items such as magic scrolls, has access to various magic skills and is good at dealing with magical traps and devices, the latters being useful skills in dungeon exploration.
On the other hand, subclasses like this have a tendency to be complex and not as efficient as the respective classes so it is better for a player to just take a Magic class if they really want to use magic.
It is a rare subclass among People of the Earth as it means being a skilled thief with solid knowledge and abilities in magic all the while being different from ruin pillagers or petty robbers.
