Puppeteer is one of the many subclasses in Elder Tale.[1]
Overview[]
It is a kind of in-between of Production and Role-play, as it can both create dolls and manipulate them.
A puppet is an item that can either be displayed, sold or manipulated by a Puppeteer to perform diverse movements and tricks. Like any other subclasses, you begin with a limited array of dolls and tricks and expand your repertoire by leveling and clearing quests. While high level Puppeteers are able to create golems, whether you can use them for battle is a matter of main class. In terms of subclass, the golem is considered a tamable creature Animal Trainers can use as a transport mount. Some Summoners choose this subclass for the bonuses and synergy it brings to the Alchemist build.
Because of the puppets’ lack of direct usefulness in strategy, Adventurer Puppeteers are few. However, they are popular and demanded by a strong fanbase of doll lovers and collectors.
It is difficult to make a general statement about Earthlings Puppeteer because their role in the society varies: Puppeteer includes those who make dolls for children, those who craft them as works of art, those who create them for religious ceremonies and witchcraft but also the ones who use them for troop performances. In the end though, the amount of people skilled with dolls stays small.
